Elaine Jane Thompson passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on September 12, 2017. She was born on February 28, 1947 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ron and her parents Ann and Ted Nicolaou.

Spending time with her family and grandchildren made her very happy. Elaine was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals especially Greek recipes for her family and friends. She kept many Greek traditions alive in her family and was very proud of her Greek heritage. She will be...

Elaine Jane Thompson passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on September 12, 2017. She was born on February 28, 1947 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ron and her parents Ann and Ted Nicolaou.

Spending time with her family and grandchildren made her very happy. Elaine was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals especially Greek recipes for her family and friends. She kept many Greek traditions alive in her family and was very proud of her Greek heritage. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Elaine started her career at the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers in 1974 and retired in 2010 as the President. She is survived by her loving children Nicole (Phil), Stephanie (Lynn), Stacy (Matt), her grandchildren Phoebe, Alexa, Sarah, her brother John (Karen), sister Marianne, nephews Cody and Troy as well as many more family and dear friends.

Services will be held on September 22, 2017 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks at 2 pm. A Greek celebration of life will immediately follow at Lake Natoma Inn located at 702 Gold Lake Drive, Folsom. There is a room block set aside under Elaine Thompson's Celebration of Life.
